Meet the teachers
Teacher Sonja
With a passion for both literacy and
creativity, Sonja Brooks is dedicated
to helping young learners build strong
reading foundations through
evidence-based Science of Reading
instruction. As an experienced
educator, she believes that reading
should be both structured and joyful,
making literacy come alive.
Since 2005, Sonja has taught all
grades K-5. She has experience with
both face to face and virtual
teaching and program

design.

Being creative and making learning
fun is what Jennifer Hamilton's
teaching philosophy is all about.
School can be hard but in Jennifer's
classroom it's always a good time!
Jennifer allows students to have the
freedom to learn in untraditional
ways, experiment with new
techniques, and is always willing to try
out different art mediums.
Jennifer has been teaching arts
education since 2009 and has
taught all grade levels Young 5s
through 12th grade. She has
experience with teaching both
online, creating digital art
tutorials, and teaching in person.
Her goal? Anyone can create art,
you just need the right tools and a
bit of confidence.

We offer tutoring in all subjects for students in 4th grade and up, with caring mentors and a calm, focused environment that encourages learning and growth.
