Nick graduated from Powers Catholic High School in Flint where he was part of the 2005 Division 4 State Championship football team. His efforts on the field and in the weight room and class room helped him earn an athletic and academic scholarships to Northwood University in Midland. After leaving collage he returned to his alma mater and coached 3 years at Powers Catholic before leaving to pursue a career in natural gas construction. Family brought him back to Michigan where he returned to the sidelines coaching with Fenton Youth Football, AGS Middle School, and Freshman at Fenton high school. Nick also coaches basketball and baseball at various levels. He has been a certified personal trainer since 2007 and has worked with numerous athletes to help them prepare for their sports season. From Division 1 to youth football Nick can develop a program to help you achieve your goals.

Nick met his wife Sabrina in 2007 and they have been married since 2009. They have 4 children Austin, Titan, Brantley, and Raylan. These 4 are what drove Nick to start coaching again and the driving force behind his push to make Shoebox Sports a place not only for athletes, but for families.

- What do you enjoy most about coaching: I enjoy seeing the young people I am coaching start to develop a passion for the sport and knowing I helped the develop that.
- How did you get into coaching: I volunteered to help my former coaches after leaving college
- What position did you play: I played Defensive End in college and Left Guard in high school.
- When did you start playing football: 2nd grade I started playing Swartz Creek youth football.
